Directions: Three shades of ice cream give a dramatic effect n a luscious and easy to
make dessert that's great for kids of all ages. WE used
chocolate,strawberry and vanilla, but why not choose your own favorite
flavors? Add a variety of crispy, caramel, chocolate and peanut butter
flavored candy bars.
In top of double boiler over hot, not boiling, water, melt chocolate,cream
and corn syrup, whicking until smooth; let cool. Let ice cream soften at
room temperature for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, cover 10 inch cardboard circle
with waxed paper and place in 11 inch springform pan. Chop candy bars and
cookies. Spread 1 container of ice cream over bottom. Sprinkle with half of
the candy bars and cookies. Drizzle with 1/2 cup of the sauce. Repeat
layers. Spread third container of ice cream on top; drizzle with remaining
sauce. Sprinkle with almonds. Freeze for at least 3 hours. (Cake can be
removed from pan, wrapped well and frozen for up to one month.) Let soften
in refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving. Makes 16-20 servings.

Holiday stuffed pork roast Cook almonds in butter in large skillet over medium-high heat until brown.
Add onions and celery; cook until vegetables are tender crisp. Stir in
rice, 1/2 cup orange juice, orange peel, 1 teaspoon ginger, and salt; set
aside. Untie roast, an Holiday loaf (helen) Prepare rice (begin with 7/8 cup brown and 1/8 cup wild, uncooked and add
to 2 cups boiling water). I just used my rice cooker and cold water and it
turned out great. Make cashew milk using 1/2 cup cashews blended with 1/2

stirring as you pour, to within 2 inches of the lip of the glass. Add

Put sour cream or yogurt, canola oil, and raisins in the baking pan of

Pear breakfast cake Preheat oven to 350F. Grease a 10 x 8 x 2-inch ceramic baking dish
with butter.
Peel, core and dice the pear. Spread in baking dish and top with a
light grinding of black pepper, if desired.
Beat eggs and sugar until pale in color and very Wheat-free applesauce cake Grind oats by running Quaker (or similar) either quick or regular oatmeal
in a blender or food processor (I use Quick Oatmeal!)
Combine ground oats, sugar, salt, soda, and spices in mixing bowl. Add
shortening, eggs and vanilla. Beat until sm Zucchini and walnut cake Powdered sugar
Preheat oven to 350F. Butter the sides of an 8 x 2-inch cake pan,
line the base with a circle of baking parchment and butter the
parchment. Using a nut mill, grind walnuts to flour and set aside.
Using the same nut mill, grin Spiced chocolate applesauce cake Sift together flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; set aside. Cream
together the shortening and sugar in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy,
