Directions: Sift together the Flour, Soda, Tarter, and Salt, and set aside.Cream (Beat) the Crisco, Vanilla, and maple syrup until well mixed,then add the sugar gradually creaming until light and fluffy. AddEgg yolks one at a time and beat well after each is added. Slowlyadd the Sifted dry ingredients and beat until just blended. MakeBalls 1 1/2 inch (Approx) in Diameter and place 2 inches apart on anungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 9 to 11 min or untilthe edges just start to turn golden brown. Allow to cool at leasttwo min on the sheet before removing to a rack until completely cool.This recipe was created by accident while I was trying to salvageanother cookie disaster. Fill a large, high sided skillet with salted water and bring to a boil. Add
the asparagus and cook until barely tender, about 10 minutes. Drain in a

Adolph's Sugar Substitute-1/4 tsp for 1 tablespoon of sugar. Liquid Sweet
10- 1 tablepso Diabetic pumpkin cookies Soak raisins in hot water for 5 minutes. Drain. Cream shortening. Add
pumpkin, egg and vanilla. Beat well. Mix dry ingredients. Add to creamed
mixture. Mix well. Add raisins and nuts. Drop on greased cookie sheets and
