Directions: 1. Melt 1 tbsp butter in a saute pan. Saute garlic and onion until onion is transparent. Remove garlic and onion from skillet.2. Melt 1 tbsp butter to pan, cut up chicken into medium sized chunks and cook in pan. When cooked remove from heat and re-add onion/garlic, cover.3. Make the sauce by melting 3 tbsp butter in sauce pan. Add 3 tbsp flour when melted and mix well. Add water slowly while mixing. Add 1 tbsp bourbon, then add brown sugar . Heat on medium flame while adding sugar (to help it disolve). Add pepper and parsely and stir. Cook on medium/low for for a couple of minutes (3-4).4. Add sauce to chicken and onions. Heat for 5-10 minutes and then serve with rice. Also goes well with green beans. |
