Directions: Sauce:Combine teriyaki sauce, sugar and sesame oil. Gently pound chicken until very thin; cut in half lengthwise. Toss with 2 tablespoons of sauce mixture and marianate for 20 minutes.Boil remaining sauce mixture until syrupy and reduced to 1/2 cup (about 5 minutes).Dipping Sauce:Stir 3 tablespools reduced sauce into vinegar. Top with 1 tablespoon sliced scallion (green onions) and 1/2 teaspoon of sesame seeds.Rolls:Sprinkle chopped scallions over chicken. Roll up chicken jelly-roll style; secure with toothpicks and sprinkle with sesame seeds.Cook:Broil 4 inches from heat (about 4 minutes) turning once, until cooked through. Brush with reduced sauce during the last 1 to 2 minutes of cooking.Serve:To serve, cut each roll into slices and serve on skewers with dipping sauce and steamed rice if desired. |
