of salt and pepper. Stir in the nuts and 5-6 tablespoons chopped mint or
watercress. (Waterc Mexican lentil casserole (vegan) In a medium saucepan, combine onions, green pepper,
celery and water. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
Stir in lentils, cover pot, reduce heat to low and
simmer 40 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Lightly spray a 1 3/4-quart cassero Spicy korean marinade Combine ingredients. Marinate tempeh, tofu, fish, chicken for several
hours or overnight. Can also be used as a sauce.

Miso marinade Combine all ingredients and use as a marinade for fish or vegetables.
Mexican rice (mcdougall) Saute the onion, green pepper, scallion, mushrooms, and garlic in the 1/2
cup of water for 10 minutes.
Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Cook over low heat for about
10 minutes, or until heated through, stirring frequently.
From Turkey & chile soup This is a recipe that I like to use for turkey leftovers. I use the
carcass to make the stock first. I throw in any vegetables I want to use
up in the fridge into the stock pot except cabbage and broccoli and carrot
greens which smell too str Mexican bean and rice casserole Heat the oil in a large skillet and saute th eonion, celery and red pepper
till almost tender.
Blend together the beans, a small amount of the liquid from cooking them
(about 1/4 cup), the tomato paste, the spices, and the shoyu or tamari in Mexican stuffed peppers Wash the peppers and cut them in half lengthwise.
Remove the seeds.
Place the peppers, cut side facing down, on a rack above boiling water.
Cover the pot and steam for about 10 minutes, or until the peppers are just
beginning to get soft. Mexican limeade Simple syrup: Combine the sugar and water in a saucepan, and heat
until it barely begins to boil. Remove from heat and cool.
Combine one cup of syrup and one cup of lime juice in a pitcher. Add
enough water to make up a half gallon. Serve o Mexican-style hot chocolate *Not aspertame - loses sweetness when heated.
For cocoa mix, in a storage container combine dry milk powder, cocoa
powder, sugar substitute and cinnamon. Mix well. Cover and store in
a cool, dry place up to 8 weeks.
For each serving, place Mexican cornbread Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Mix all ingredients except cheese together.
Pour half of mixture in a well-greased skillet. Use an iron skillet if you
have one. Spread cheese over the mixture, then pour remaining batter on
top. Bake in 325 de Baked smoked salmon and feta cheese en croute You'll also need 1 frozen pastry sheet, cut into a 3" X 8" rectangle and
some melted butter. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. In a medium bowl,
hand mix the salmon, cream cheese, Feta cheese, egg, capers, parsle, and
scallions. Mexican deviled eggs Cut the eggs lengthwise into halves. Slip out the yolks and mash with a
fork. Mix the mashed yolks with the mayonnaise, cumin, capers, mustard,

mixture, heaping lightly. Spr Mexican quiche 1 Put cheese into shells. Mix bacon with drained chilies and put into shells.
Beat eggs, cream and salt. Pour into shells. Sprinkle cayenne over top.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool 5 minutes.
Mexican quiche 2 Heat tortilla and place in small greased dish. Top with half of the cheese.
Cook sausage and pepper and add to dish. Mix together remaining ingredients
and pour over dish. Top with rest of cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to
35 minute Mexican chicken wings 1. Preheat oven to 350ø. In a small bowl, whisk together the oil, chili
powder, oregano & cumin to blend well.
2. Pulverize the tortilla chips in a food processor. Pour into a shallow
bowl.
3. Dip the chicken pieces in the seasoned oil; Pork and chicken wing adobo with spinach One of my all time favorite things to eat...
There are many ways of preparing adobo. In this recipe, the sauce is
reduced to a rich savory glaze to coat the pork and chicken.
Cut chicken wings between the joints. Remove tips and save for
s Ginger-soy marinade Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl. Use to marinate meat, fish,
chicken for an hour or overnight, turning to coat from time to time.
Remaining marinade may be used to baste meat while is cooking.
Makes 3/4 cup = 6 servings.
Food Mexican corn Combine first 6 ingredients in a large skillet; cover and cook over medium
heat 7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add tomato and oregano; cook,

frying pan until it starts to smoke. Add the chicken cubes and fry over
medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until they are browned (2 or 3

juice, garlic, egg and paprika until blended. With motor running, slowly
pour in salad oil until combined. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cover and
chill up to 2 days. ma Potato salad with smoked turkey and artichoke hearts 1. Place the potatoes in a steamer basket, set over boiling water, cover and steam 20 to 25 minutes, or until tender. Cool, peel and slice the potatoes; place in a large bowl.
2. Place the garlic in a food processor and chop finely. Add the lemon juice, Achiote marinade/mop Mix all ingredients in a non reactive bowl. Use as a marinade or mop. Adobe, mexican smoked chili marinade Combine orange and lime juices, chiles garlic, oregano, cumin, black
pepper, vinegar and salt in blender. Puree until smooth. Makes enough
marinade for l l/2 to 2 pounds meat or chicken. Do you get the Times. On

heavy skillet over medium heat, turning frequently, until blackened in

game) for 3 to 6 hours, then use the marinade as a basting sauce as the

rosemary and pepper. With the machine on, add the olive oil in a slow,
steady stream and blend until emulsified.
Good on any kind of beefsteak, pork, lamb, chicken: marinate Basic barbeque sauce - marinade This quick barbeque sauce is used to baste meat or poultry during broiling
or barbequeing. Dilute with appropriate white or red wine for marinating
steaks or other meats.

rectangle-shaped seed with a pleasantly bitter flavor. Look for it in
Indian and Middle Eastern grocery stores. I hav Big game marinade Put all ingredients in a large saucepan and bring to a boil. Lower heat
and simmer for 5 minutes. Cool and pour over game pieces. Makes about 5
cups.
Use for: bear, venison, elk, moose, sheep, goat, buffalo
